The Python Africa Tour is a project led by a group of Python developers, advocates and social change actors. Their objective is to help promote open source software in general and the Python language in Africa.
Started in December 2008 in Morocco, the tour came to West Africa in July 2009 and stopped in Dakar. It has returned to stop in Abuja in 2010.
Target audience include students, educators, researchers in scientific computing, software companies and software developers in general
